I apologise for wanting a sense of pride in a shirt...you're absolutely correct I should have no opinion.

I like it, much prefer this collar to last years which cut so low and hairy cleavage was more or less out constantly.

Inevitably when the new shirt comes out there will be plenty who dislike it plenty who will like it, it will usually grow on most as they get used to it and see it in action then the whole process will start again next summer with people saying they preferred the last one.

  3. I quite like it. Safe design, but certainly not too bad.

My 7 year old son says he doesn't like it, particularly the collar, but he still definitely wants one.

I am older now so not really that bothered about the design, but what does annoy me is that they only use the shirt for one season, even when the sponsor and manufacturer does not change, yours used to associate an era with a shirt, when we had it for three odd years, I know all clubs do it now but I really do think it is wrong, football fans got the away ticket price down maybe they should get clubs to keep the home kit for at least 2 years if the manufacturer and sponsor remain the same, also when the squad turned up for training they were still in puma gear, this may have been mentioned somewhere, I am pretty sure dry world would. It be happy with this, the hornet shop could not even sell puma bits after may 31, or so I was told.

Out of interest does anyone know how many home and away shirts we sell at all, I would guess about 100000 and 5000 but that is a total guess

Just because I think your opinion is farcical doesn't mean you shouldn't have it.

Keep going sport. Once day a world without collars will exist for you, and I hope it makes you happy.

Same for my kids. They think it is boring, but want one immediately. Personally, I think that the kit is nice, but what the hell do I know.

I thought I liked it last night. Then I realised it was a bit ****e.

    1. The red stripe down the side - nope. Should have stayed true yellow all around. Can't see the point in that stupid little strip of pointlessness.

    2. The away should be all white.

    3. The goalkeeper top doesn't follow the collar style and looks like a PE kit.

    4. Now the controversial bit - the collar. When I saw Arsenals popper collar last year I thought it looked brilliant on a shirt and that it would be great if we could do the same:

We have done the same. Badly. It's pretty bad. A horrible collar. A flappy little thing which, as someone else said, will curl up and look ragged after 2 or 3 washes.

Red underneath so the chavs can "pop" it. Believe me, you will see it. Wannabe London wideboy chavs walking around Watford with their collars popped up because it's "cool" and they're "ard". No, you look like a tw@.

    For this reason, I'm out.

Got last years home and away. Should see me through to 2017/18.

What a load of ****. Who actually buys this overpriced rubbish. Get a white t shirt, **** on it, scribble wfc footy manager and you're ready to go.

An opportunity to relive my childhood running around pretending to the Tommy Mooney with my collar up - what more can you expect from a shirt?

Does anyone know when the new kit is being announced? I'm tired of these Twitter mockups with buttons and that.

I like it. How anyone can moan about the collar after last years absolutely horrific, embarrassingly low V neck I don't really know.

I quite like it but I don't understand why the goalkeeper kit has a white collar when the other two have black. Also the away kit would look better with black shorts...
Also what's with the stripe down the side? Don't like that at all.

The shirt really does look very similar (and better logo!).

Not at all keen on the new home and away shirts but they definitely look better removing or reducing the size of the 138 logo!

    See that was also horrible.

People have some seriously ****ed up fashion choices if they think this new kit is smart.

I was thinking exactly the same, but not sure you're quite right there, as according to the Historical Football Kits website since the late 1930s the kit has never remained the same for more than three seasons, and since the 1995/96 season the club has only used the shirt for more than one season twice (1999-2001 and 2003-2005).

But you're right, I don't know why they have to keep changing it, even in this age of rapidly advancing technology and round-the-world up-to-the-nano-second social media, fashions don't change that quickly!

Usually I'd agree. But if they kept this shirt design for a week, it would be too long.

The shirt is pretty much a polo shirt. I know we're minted now but...

What I don't understand - and this is the 2nd or 3rd year in a row now - is why we keep having bits of the away kit the same colour as the home kit. Last season both had black shorts and socks, this season both have black socks. Seems simple - just make two kits in different colours!

Add a suit jacket and tie over the top, and it's actually quite a decent kit.

Are there belt loops on the new shorts?

  31. Mighty Mo

Why? A company run by a lifelong Hornet who just wanted to back the club he has always loved and followed home and away. He used to stand under the scoreboard in the Vic Rd end. These days he and his son attend games together. Personally I much prefer this situation to a Wonga or Sports Direct sponsorship which has no personal connection to the club.

138 have posted some embarrassing tweets lately as well as block a dozen of Watford fans.
I also cannot wait till our deal is over with them.

Did you see what they tweeted a few months ago and then deleted? It was something along the lines of calling the league 1 football playoffs the pits, and saying they couldn't wait for it to be over. Many fans called them up on it, and rightly so.

I think they are OK. I do like the white away shirt as we were white through most of the good times in the 80's, hence why I've got a nostalgic semi on. My son (10) has stated that he wants the keepers shirt.

The keepers shirt is basically the late '70s Liverpool shirt. I thought Gomes was Dalglish for minute!
