Any news out there about what to expect?

How long do we have left with Puma?

I'm hoping for some red to be included this time around.

    Agreed.

    Never have rated Puma kits.

Umbro would be great too

Have been eternally grateful to the Pozzos for Puma; after the wilderness years of Burrda and Joma, but Nike = God-tier. Under Armour would also make a mildly edgy choice that could look good.

    Le Coq Sportif please

Kappa with the Italian connection and all.

I'm told the club are planning on having Premier League badges on both arms.

I really like this years Puma kit. Simple and classy. The only problem for me is that I find 138.com's logo hideous.

    Under Armour would be good.

Puma are decent, but a little repetitive and unimaginative.

Burrda, Joma or Le Coq Sportif - No thank you.

Nike are boring, every kit looks the same.

Would welcome Under Armour or Warrior though - 2 companies with fresh ideas with regards to designs. Like the Spurs and Liverpool kits too.

Nike and Adidas will give us nothing but a template. Umbro would be cool. Like Everton's kits this seasons

Apparently we are going to have Italian kit manufacturer Errea from next season. The first kits have already been leaked (if you know where to look) and the first design is based on the classic 'Iveco' shirt of the early/mid 80's including an all white away strip & a classy light blue/dark blue 3rd kit. There is also an unlikely re-emergence of a previous kit sponsor.

Check out these leaked designs.. http://www.designfootball.com/design-galleries/fantasy-football-shirts/orig-watford-fc-4013

When I spoke to someone in the shop last week they said that the new kit design is going to be late this year dependent of whether we get promotion or not.

Would like a return to yellow and red a la the 98-99 kit. Anything less than this would be a disgrace.

It was very odd seeing an aisle of Perth's Asda full of St Johnstone's kits. I don't think they were a sponsor of them.

This can only mean that if we go up we're getting a beautiful Nike kit that I'll want to marry.

  21. I'd love an Umbro kit.

For the record, Warrior doesn't exist anymore, it's New Balance. They seem to produce perfectly good home shirts and bat**** mental change strips.

When I was a kid I always dreamed of having the three stripes of adidas in red down the sleeves of our yellow shirt...

Apologies in advance for being a pedant (and I'm sure you know this) however, in my role as an ambassador of the game, I feel the responsibility to point out that Warrior do continue to exist in their original guise as probably the biggest brand in Lacrosse; Its just the football arm of the business that has been subsumed/rebranded by their owners, New Balance :tumbleweed:

  24. Fair enough , I've been out pedanted

I saw an old ('85-'88 "solvite") one of our subbuteo sets for sale in a charity shop (there were three: a scummers and an Everton). I asked the lady in the shop for the Watford one. She said there wasn't one. I asked again and was told that none of them were Watford. So I asked to see the yellow one and saw that it was labelled "Partick Thistle". Last night, in between searching for more erotic images for my "Saucy moog" collection I "came" across this. I do like the very continental looking home kit and, as I have a few pink rugby tops (British Army and Stade francais) I'm a sucker for pink kits (especially one that supports a charity). If we're now wearing an "old" away kit - why not stripes from 1890's? Also the "rasta" stripes from around the trun of the century are really good-looking.

Middle one would have been an improvement on our last white kit. Who the hell thought a double collar would look good?!

Oh and a third kit that is heavily influenced by our sponsor "The Happy Egg Co." (Add a couple of quid to the price as a donation to the Peace Hospice). This would fit in with our Spanish family as Spanish clubs do kits "influenced" by a brewer and a broccoli grower:

But not the squid one - it looks sh1t.

Yeah very nice actually. I particularly liked the white one as it was a reminder of the first away strips from when i started going to games in the 70's.
Whoever designed those obviously used our 1980's kits for inspiration.

So we could get something tailored specifically for the club via Puma if we go up or a template if we don't?

    Or a completely new supplier?

  34. Jellyman

    New kit supplier - Adidas?

I've noticed Adidas appearing a few times recently. First Tozser posted a photo of him signing a contract with them, then Marco Motta posted a photo of an Adidas mobile store thing that seems to have been brought to the training ground full of 'new models'.

Coincidence? Or perhaps this is the start of a wonderful relationship?

My dream has always been a yellow home shirt with the traditional 3 Adidas stripes in red running down the side.

If they did that I would be beyond happy.
