It has. Deeney has five yellows I believe after last nights bizarre booking, but I am sure he doesn't serve a suspension.
It's not reset as such, but the number you have to receive is 10 rather than 5 - I think. Between the start of the season and 1st Jan, five yellow cards earn you a 1 match ban. Between the start of the the season and the start of April (or around that time), ten yellow cards earns you a 2 match ban. Whatever the rule is, we're not at risk.
Bizarre booking??.....he was lucky to stay on the pitch after that. Red card all day long. How we ended with only 10 men on the pitch after that match is beyond me. Angella should have had 2 red cards for his blatant handball in the box as well as holding onto Russell. We should have conceded at least 2 more penalties and had 4 sent off. Watson is another who should have gone. Our equaliser looked offside and Vydra's first was a foul in the build up. Neither should have stood. I'm sure that shot from Bent also went in before Gomes deflected for a corner....but I'll need to watch it again to confirm that. Either way....to have come away with a point from that game was daylight robbery.
Angella will be serving a one match ban for his red card against Boro and will miss the Millwall game as a result.
Further to that last. We've got a fantastic squad with an obvious group spirit, all willing to die for the cause - that second half performance was just so immense. And yet we have people coming on here singling out players for abuse. Deeney would tell you to **** off. Gomez would tell you to **** off. Guedioura would tell you to **** off. Almen would tell you to **** off. Ighalo wouldn't say it, cos he's a good god-fearing boy, but he would think it. It's like the utterly feeble minded *****s on twitter. Just ****ing do one the lot of you. ...Yes, I know it's a forum and people should be allowed to have opinions; so here's mine: get behind the team. all of them, whoever Joka picks, or you're a ****.
