Intrigued to know where people think he will go?

Palace, Villa, Sunderland, Leicester, Burnley, Stoke, West Ham?

    Will he stay?

Most importantly will he still be loved if he goes Palace or Leicester? I may be a bit selfish but if he joins Leicester it would tarnish my opinion of him. Not that he cares..

More importantly are there any of the teams you mention able or willing to pay the transfer fee that we would require

I think he'll start next season here but be gone near the end of August. For the price we'll be asking teams will want to look elsewhere first.

I think Leicester would bid £8 million and we'd consider that.

We'd sell all day long for £8m.

One of homegrown 5 and scores 20+ goals together with being dressing room personality, tough to replace.

    I'd bet on new contract

We'll sell towards the end of the transfer window and shaft ourselves by leaving us short for the start of the season. Nani will save the day with a late loan though.

My sources say we've received a bid from Leicester that IMO cannot and will not be rejected.

    Do your own work.

It's about time we had a Troy Deeney thread on this forum.

Who could we replace him with? Could anyone start a new thread on potential signings perhaps? I believe he must be a proven Championship goalscorer and know the club IMO!

That Czech striker at West Brom isn't getting many games. Maybe we could loan him?

He'll go to a promoted or bottom end premiership club, but like Danny Graham will struggle.

A decent player but not premiership quality. I don't blame the club for cashing in nor Deeney for wanting a crack at the premiership.

    Good luck to the feller

"HAHAHAHA enjoy the championship without your best player you **** *****" will be the jist of it.

you're right, but I had no idea hoe Danny Graham would do, But I was right. I said that Smith wasn't a premiership player and I was right. I had no idea how Geijo, Beleck or Acuna would do, but I was right and in 18 months time I'll be telling everyone that I was right about Deeney.

I hope he takes his chance an dI hope he does well, but his no better player than HH or DG10 and thats why I don't think he will do well

Danny Graham had a great start to his Premier League career. Then Rodgers left Swansea.

Naturally I'd love him to stay but if he does go he goes with my blessing.

Why on earth would he want to stay and why on earth should he? He's more than proved he's ready to make the step up and should get out for his own sake.

Best of luck to him and I'm sure if he does go he'll be a success.

    Doesn't owe us anything.

A player who has made the utmost of his talents and puts the likes of Faraoni to utter shame.

I'd love him to stay but won't begrudge Troy a shot in the EPL if that's what he wants, deserves it

Scanned through some Crewe highlights on their player, Ikpeazu still a rough diamond but does not look far off being ready for us

I hope whatever happens to the management in the summer happens sooner rather than later so the likes of Ikpeazu get a full pre-season to impress Beppe or the new manager.

Yes the look he gave Faraoni yesterday about 10 mins from the end when he didn't square the ball back enough says it all, it would have been a tap- in for Troy who desperately wanted a goal.

The reason fans are so emotionally involved re Troy is because he is " one of us " he is a born trier and showed a lot of affection with the fans and club for the way he has come back from he enforced layoff at HMP and put everything into doing his utmost best for the club and fans on the pitch. Something other players would be wise to follow.

He deserves everything he gets and if going to the Premier league betters him and his family then he goes with all of the fans good wishes.

To the Ponzo's he is a commodity that they can make money on now, therefore I will be surprised to see him in a WFC shirt again

The teams who have just got promoted rarely invest until January, once they know what the requirement is.

If he goes then I would imagine it'll be to a team who have been in the prem already this season, a team who knows what their requirements are.

The only time Troy will go there is to see the set where last of the summer wine was filmed.

The rumour is that leicester are planning to offer Jamie Vardy + 8M for Deeney. I think that would be a fantastic deal for us, what to you lot think?

I can't see how he can stay. We're a selling club and Deeney's stock will never be higher. He's paid us back for sticking by him and now he's entitled to look to his own future and the chance to prove himself at the top level, or to make himself insanely rich whilst trying.

If figures north of £6m are true, then it'd be a very good deal.

Sell him to Man Utd and then loan him back, like Zaha?
