I'd guess it's for one of two reasons: 1) He's about to head out on loan for the season. 2) We're about to sell him. I hope it's the former.
0-0 stalemate. As the score line suggests very little happened - a few half chances for both sides. Ogi probably had the best chance right at the end.
U21s with Murray, Belk and Success drew 2-2 with USA side Chivas. Not sure why Paredes didn't feature, probably on his way out. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/2016-17/160719-under-21-chivas-friendly-report-3194601.aspx
Wonder why Success is having to build fitness up at home rather than with the rest of the 1st team squad?
I think he was injured a bit at the end of last season (I remember he was out of the Granada squad a bit anyway). Maybe something has come up about that again just. Or maybe its to do with his work permit? I've no idea how those things work to be honest. I know Paredes wasn't able to go due to immigration rules
Can't find anywhere, and in all honesty not looked very hard. With recent reshuffling of the EFL trophy and Premier League 2. What category is our academy? And is it getting upgraded to the Category 1 status that's required to be invited to these competitions?
Still Category 2, an upgrade which was completed last summer. No news about aiming for Category 1 but it's too late now for this season.
Dennon Lewis to Woking on a season-long loan. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/14646148.Under_21_wide_man_Lewis_wings_out_to_Woking/

The U23s play Bristol City U23s today @ 2pm. Can they make it 4 wins from 4? UNDER-23: #watfordfc XI v @bcfctweets: Gilmartin; Stevens, Ryan, Rowan; Eleftheriou, Lewis, Stewart (c), Charles, Mason; Adeyemo, Folivi. UNDER-23: #watfordfc subs v @bcfctweets: Lacy (GK), Obi, Stray, Forster, Rogers. Kick-off at 2pm.
2-1 FT! Harry Forster pops up with a (deflected) goal in injury time. 4 wins from 4 for Kewell now... Well done!
My guess is that it's mostly down to Kewell having better players to work with this season (don't forget that last year's U18s walked the league). I'm sure Kewell learnt a lot last season though also, and is now a better manager because of it .
They seem to be playing at the training ground more whereas they used St Albans a lot last season. Just better suited to playing in familiar surroundings? The goalie seems to be playing pretty well - is he the one we brought after a trial in the summer?
Another goal for Dennon Lewis yesterday. His 3rd of the season for Woking! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37264018
