When writing a PM a dialogue notification pops up at the bottom of the screen saying words to the effect of Message last saved at <insert current time>. Much like Yahoo email it periodically saves drafts of it which are easily retrieved from the drafts folder. But where are the PMs here saved to? I was writing one earlier, left it to return to find my son had closed WFCForums for Youtube and it seems my PM is lost for ever.

 

I would think, it'll be stored in a cookie retrievable when you reopen the pm page, in much the same way that a draft thread reply is. You get a little button at the bttom next tiem you go to reply to that same thread with "restore previous content" or something. Certainly it won;t be stored on the server anywhere for us to recover. Private messages are exactly that, Mods can't access them.

 

Yep, you are right there is indeed a Restore Previous Content button lurking innocuously at the foot of the PM page. Thanks, I never would have found it had I not known what/where to look.

 

Something has happened to one of my images in the inter forum league predictions posts that has been replied to a few times! Think this may be one of the issues with using tinypic.com, but may be worth removing from them all as looks a little bit pornographic.....

If I delete it from my initial post will it remove from all the others?

Just logged on and it's showing that I've viewed almost every single thread in every single sub-forum. Now, I do accept that I have spent too much time on here recently but I definitely haven't read anywhere near that much! Is this likely a bug or has someone inexplicably hacked my account and decided to read all the threads (both Watford and non-Watford related)?

 

There's a link somewhere that marks all posts as read, I've pressed it myself by accident before. Think it's called "mark forums read".

Someone has made a malicious phishing report and the site is blocked to isle using open dns I've reported it but they've done nothing yet.

 

People who have too many 'Orns, sometimes it covers their text, e.g.



Can something be done about it in case reids or anyone otherwise has anything profound to say and it gets missed?

 

Can you put a flag against anyone's name if they show a lack of interest in winning the FA Cup?

This will help me identify who's opinions I'm not interested in and can block or smugly mock when we win it.

 

I am not IT literate, so excuse my terminology. The forum seems to have been hijacked by some clown advertising various products. Presumably there is a way to block this infiltrator?
