I don't understand why a Watford fan would make it a personal crusade to try and convert opposition fans? THEY DON"T CARE about what you say, 40 pages of 'going around in circles'. Do something worthwhile with your life.

    Wow!

It is like a mine of new memes has just opened up.
Ill try to catch a few:

"Owners using you as some kind of football manager experiment"

"I really do hope they fail. I would want ANY other championship team including Brighton, spit, to get the places. Watfrod may call it playing the system, but in my mind its just cheating"

"Watford is a clear example of this and this is why not just Palace fans, but the majority of football fans want them to fail. Your pathetic little club really does disgust me."

"It's like taking over Barcelona on Football Manager and signing all their players for free."
[Those grapes must be extra sour - didnt you win at Wembley?]
[NB This is nearly exactly how it feels sometimes and it fills me with joy and laughter to hear how bitter it makes you all at Palace]

We are like Starbucks as we avoid paying tax.

We are bending the rules now as well as finding loop holes.

It is certain we cant now get to Europe because of Udinese

LOTS of whinging about FFP and a vague hope that our players will be valued at market value at some point when someone called "ACCOUNTS" comes along, deus ex machina, all powerful he will reveal our treachery in not being anywhere near as **** as Palace, so we can TAKE THE PUNISHMENT OUR CHEATING DESERVES

The way they carry on they carry the torch for English footballing hopes and have a history that makes Liverpool and Manchester United look like teams from the Unibond Premier.

What about endless threads about other teams moaning about us?

Lets face it - football fans are tribal and bias.

We'd have a few complaining about the Pozzo system if it was another side using it although not quite sure why Palace are so upset.

In fact it no doubt helped them win as our player froze under the pressure and expectation whereas theirs didn't at Wembley.

I doubt Holloway would have wanted to beat another team so much as he clearly wanted to against us.

I look forward to all those wonderful Palace youngsters tearing up the Premier league...alongside Thomas and Chamakh

    :naughty:

But my favourite so far is here. He gets so cross that you can imagine him pointing his finger saying "your(e), your(e) just howible. And I hate you and everyone hates you"

As his tiny mind tries to work out why he is angry at a team his team beat but now has better players and a better future (there ive solved it for him)

"We're in the f**king Premier League at your expense. I've literally no idea how that can even be possible.

Please just do one, nobody in the FL agrees with what you're doing (at fan level) yet you continue to sign players from Udinese and Granada at an embarassing rate and what's more, you're . You're looking healthy for promotion but until the fat lady sings, I don't see why you're even on here.

Holloway was the only person to have the balls to mention what everyone was thinking, if it wasn't him, your fans would have an unhealthy hatred with another manager because he brought to light how unfair your advantage is, not against CPFC, but 23 teams."

They really are silly ***** aren't they?! Don't worry though, their freefall starts next week. The reason they can't let it go is simply the fact we are STILL in a better position than them without going up.If we went up, I think we'd struggle to get a footing but eventually get there, like we did in the championship last year. They are just down to fail. They've signed nobody that can influence their survival. They've forked out however much on Gayle, who is good, but will struggle with that step up.

    I think we were the real winners after the playoff final, here are a few reasons;

    1. We're able to build to go again.
    2. One less trip south of the river.
    3. We aren't managed by Holloway.
    4. Despite losing, we aren't bitter or jealous.
    5. Again, Holloway has nothing to do with our club.

I am betting on a watford win every game this year - started with £20, pot now £58, will bet a 1/3 of the pot each match. Also have decided to bet on palace losing every game with the same system, will be interesting to see which pot is the largest at the end of the year

Exactly what I decided to do 3/3 wins so far very happy. The addition of a repeating Palace loss bet is a brilliant embellishment.

The same as you do to have time to read them?! Sorry - not having a pop at you personally & I'm aware I'm a relative novice on this forum so will probably be shot down for saying this. But, while I don't necessarily agree with SuperHorn's insistence on trying to 'educate' rival fans, surely that's his prerogative. I have a look at threads like this because they are generally amusing but don't see how abusing & mocking a fellow Watford fan (not you I know but others on here) is helpful. If you don't like what he's saying on rivals' forums, just practise what you preach & don't read them!

To sign up to almost all the other non WFC forums and comment takes far more time than a quick read of the post match analysis

Agree with comments before - surely people must tire of trying to educate the uneducated

It seems that some of those Palace fans are comparing us to Starbucks.
The problem with that comparison is that AFAIK international transfers, like any other international trade in other business, is not subject to tax. So even if those transfers were for £1M there would be nothing to pay HMRC.

It could be argued that Udinese would have to pay income tax on transfer fees received, but as the "buying" club we'd pay no tax on the new players. So if there is any tax dodging going on it's at the Udinese end of the deal.

Honestly, the level of stupidity to suggest that us not paying transfer fees or wages (!) is a tax dodge is so phenomenally imbecilic, it makes you seriously worry about our education system/the human race.

We lost at Wembley. But it is the War (#waragainstourrivals)and not one single battle that counts in the end. We know we are destined for better things and they are on an humiliating hiding to nothing. So let's be magnanimous in defeat/victory and stop trying to correct them.

It's just funny how a load of the Palace fans on their forum act like they have PhDs in international law and business law. It's also as if they wrote the FFP rules themselves.

I've noticed a couple of other posters saying words to the effect of they hope the other 71 clubs in the FL will form an angry mob just because we got some decent players for free.

Oh, and the number of comments saying that the opposition fans would feel the same way if the boot was on the other foot seem to crop up. Has anyone ever noticed that the people who say "if the Pozzos took over any other club you'd complain about it" are the same people who say "if this happened at my club I wouldn't like it one bit". Seems to be mainly Palace fans. To quote a certain man, "that don't make sense".

At the same time they should question the FL then because some simple research before the Pozzos took over would have worked out how they run their business so any mis-givings should have been brought up then.

Don't forget most of these fans thought we had a transfer embargo and felt we wouldn't sign any of the players we had so they are in a sort of shock.

They expected us to go into this season with 15 players and some kids so wouldn't be contending for promotion hence the frustration of Leicester fans who have been forced to see their club only sign one player from Tranmere.

Still don't get why Palace are so worried - haven't they got a Premier league season to look "forward" to?

I doubt the other 19 Premier league clubs give a dam....

The most annoying thing is how self righteous Crystal Palace fans get about how they're owned by a group of Palace fans. Like they're the ****ing saviours of football.
