What's the chances of him playing tommorow? Haven't seen anything to suggest he's playing nor that he's out, is no news good news? I have a feeling he won't be risked as with a big squad there will be others to step inut I do think he will be the difference between a win and draw, although I said that before wolves.
Only a guess but so far the Watford medical staff really seem to err on the side of caution..we've not really seen anybody play this season who's only been 95% fit..it feels different from previous seasons when a player might have a test on the morning of the match or be risked when not fully recovered from an injury. Therefore, on that logic, I'm expecting Abdi to be out for a few more weeks.
Chances of him playing tomorrow are slim I would have thought. As for Saturday when the match is, hopefully the medical team will give an update tomorrow!
A dislocated shoulder recovery time is 4 -12 weeks I would be very surprised if he plays in few games maybe beginning of dec if we are lucky.
FFS. Abdi has been good for us. OK he was anonymous Vs Wolves, but I can't believe fans are already starting Abdi Out campaigns. Try supporting the lads instead of slating them.
Battochio ought to be class, but Zola seems reluctant to play him for some reason. I was expecting him to have a run Vs Wolves and I think a few people included him in their suggested lineups before the game, but there was no sign. I wonder what the story is? Perhaps he's not doing it in training? Zola must have some reason for not having given him a proper run out thus far.
Hopefully Zola is keeping him fresh for the second half of the season. Observer Owl said he was very good against Brighton reserves, hopefully it's just a matter of getting him ready.
He dislocated his shoulder. You can't just pop it back in and go. It can take quite long, a few weeks, a couple of months...
Zola has said "I do not think Almen Abdi will be available for this game, hopefully he will train next week." From this article: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/10066136.Hall_fit_to_replace_Doyley_at_Blackpool/
It's a blow missing both but it does give others the opportunity to step in and stake a claim. There's a lot of competition for midfield so anyone coming in will have to perform if they want to stay there.
