Do any of our Italian friends know if the U20 game Italy V Germany will be broadcast on the TV anywhere? I can probably stream it online if so. It will be good to catch a glimpse of Battocchio as he has been injured/unfit for most of the season.

    Thanks all.

I did a tour of the dressing rooms as part of a Legends Lounge Treat for my birthday on Saturday, and 19 kits were laid out, of which one of them was Battocchio's, so it looks like he just missed out on the squad for Middlesboro?

Therefore if he is not injured during his international game he may well be in contention for the Peterboro game?

Disappointing but, I searched and there doesn't seem to be TV coverage of the match in Italy.
Lots and lots of replays of last matches of Serie A on Sky etc, but nothing, even on RAI (italian's equivalent of BBC) on the lads who might/should be in serie A and national team in a few years.
    That says something, is it?

I've heard a whisper that he won't even be selected at that level by next year. FML.

Not really. We don't even have under 21 football on our screens nowadays. We have full and the under 16's 'Home Nations' and that's it.

The England U21's are usually on TV aren't they?

You mean the u17's ? .... Moving swiftly on UEFA might have someone covering it or a search right now will uncover some streams. Look harder.....

For information (just from reading from http://www.tuttonazionali.com/?action=read&idnotizia=4704, couldn't see the match):
    Germany -Italy Under 20: 4-1
Italy in play until mid of second time losing 2-1 (also with bad defensive mistake at 2 minute), then 2 late goals by Ger leading to a heavier than deserved loss.

Battocchio played and it seems he was involved in at least 2 interesting actions, then was subbed at 72'.

Votes to players in http://www.tuttonazionali.com/?action=read&idnotizia=4726, obviously most unsufficient after a bad loss. Battocchio vote: 5.5/10.

rating 5.5 - like fellows in midfield has problems. After a good start and a series of interesting plays (see ball to Politano at 11'), is a victim of the German midfield, today more brilliant.

Not going well for Italy is it ? And not that convincing a win against Armenia in Yerevan either. Papa Pirlo had to dig the side out of a hole again. He cannot be there forever.
