Malicia mal la pija suerte hoy contra los comepinga colchones.

Un robo sin verguenza los dos penales y el segundo peor q he visto.

Fue clarísimo a todos como se tiró carajo.

(Translation in English from Google Translate for non-Spanish speaking Granada followers: "Malice diick bad luck today against comepinga mattresses. A shameless theft both criminal and q the second worst I've seen. It was evident to all pulled as fack."

And to bring a little bit of relief to this weekend for the Pozzo trinity, Granada save a penalty (unjust) against Levante away and then Piti smacks in a last minute 25 yard free kick to snatch the 3 points.

That is Piti scored un poco antes del pito!

    Great win for los primos.

  4. I know they are our cousins, but did you see the goal? Granada had a player 8 yards offside and standing directly between the goalkeeper and the ball, who ducks as the ball comes in. How the hell is that not interfering with play??

    Goal at 3:40

@Clive_ofthe_Kremlin, please, in the name of Spanish language, don't use Google Translator anymore lol

Last match against Levante was a wonderful win, unexpected for me. We are the 4th team with more points away (Sad our numbers in Los Carmenes).

@Ghost: Its a new (and strange) law for offside: If the player doesn't move, doesn't play the ball, doesn't move the arms to distract the goalkeeper... He can be there. Its funny because Levante tried it some minutes before and now they were saying it was illegal :p

Great result last night (Friday) - 3-1 home win against Malaga, El Arabi getting a second half hattrick - 17 points from 13 games now and (until the rest of the league plays on Saturday) 8th place! 7 points above the relegation zone too.

    What a game yesterday!

The new tactic 4-3-3 makes Granada CF plays way better and yesterday we made it perfectly. Great El Arabi, Iturra and Murillo. Next match is against Barcelona on Camp Nou, we will loose 99% but, if we do, we won't stress, 7 points above relegation :)

    Barcelona 4 - 0 Granada

We made it good but we made 2 penalties, one ball to the wood, one mistake of Nyom that made the 3rd, Iturra saw a red card... Was sad.

Watched it on tv and I think Granada shouldn't be ashamed of its performance.
The first penalty was completely a gift, and that changed the match. Otherwise it could have been different, against a Barcelona that didn't seem at its best.
The second pen was correct. It's a pity Nyom didn't use well his great chance, but until then Granada seemed to be able to change things. Then ... in 10 men and 0-3 it was impossible.
Not a bad match anyway and if Granada goes on this way it can have a good season.

Just seen an absolutely inexplicable miss by El Arabi to put them one up at Rayo Vallecano. Awful. He had an open goal and dribbled into the post.

El Arabi mistake will be one of hardest to explain ever lol

0-2 against Rayo Vallecano, 10th and 3 points from UEFA

Hard week: Against Rayo, Tuesday against Alcorcón in cup at Los Carmenes (0-2 in the first match) and then we receive Real Sociedad which won 5-1 today.

Threw to the trash our Cup chances at last match. 0-2 against Alcorcón and they win at penalties. Bad game, some of the non-usual players (Diakhaté, Buonanotte, Pereira and Fatau) were walking all the game without blood on their veins.

    People is really upset.

    WHAT A GAME!!

Last night we won 4-0 to Real Valladolid with a World Class goal by Murillo, our young central defender:

Its true that Valladolid is one of those 5 teams which "have nothing" but a 4-0, dominating... Seems the team has woken up.

Murillo 1 goal, Recio 2 goals, El Arabi 1 goal.

We finish the first part of the competition with 23 points (not bad), right now we are 9th but we may finish the journey 11th because we are the only team that played on Friday.

Next match against Osasuna (also in Los Carmenes)

A very good result! Congratulations, it looks like this year is no more "safety gained at last minute" like in the first two years in top tier, but a quite more confortable table position. Very very good!

Next match is against Javier Acuna's Osasuna - could that be the game he makes his debut in?

Really hard game (It was important to win) against Real Betis.

We won 1-0 (piti, assist from Illori [on loan from Liverpool] )

Next 3 matches are really hard, maybe not a single points on them so it was important to finish this game 6 points over relegation.
