I like your stadium. Very impressive. Who was your top goal scorer last year?

Ighalo and Siqueira, both with 6 goals (we just scored 35 goals, our other forwards were like Torres, no goal available)

I let you all a video recorder by a Getafe's supporter during the Granada anthem in the Granada - Getafe match

@ForzaWatford When it rains, people take out their umbrellas LOL but Granada is a sunny place, I think that, during the last 3 years, it has rain only just in one match.

I don't know Northgate IS... But Gran Via de Colon is a central road, yes.

How many people do you get attending a league game on average? Do you usually fill the stadium?

We are the team that have better average attending on 11/12 season with a 95,11%

It actually was LOL (The main referee was Gomez, the Zaragoza man that was hitten with a bottle by Benitez.

95% wow thats fantastic. You would have thought Barca would be selling 100% in the camp nou though ?

Got to say some of those attendances are shocking. I know Real and Barca dominate the scene, but this is still top level football.

Yeah, only team i can even think of who would come close to the low ones would be Blackpool a few years back. But even they pretty much sold out every game.

I know... Small teams have a fight with Roures, the "TV Chieff". Teams have to put big prizes because only Barcelona and Madrid get really money from TV (140M € everyone of them, next is Valencia with 38M. Granada only receives 10M, we can't fight).

Appart of prizes, Roures loves to kill football, an example: ALL andalusian matches (Granada against Malaga, Seville or Betis), matches where a lot of supporters can travel with the team, had been on Monday night. Casuality? I don't think so.

Also, some teams doesn't really have supporters, as you can see on Mallorca, Levante or Racing...

So we are really happy we are a full stadium where a lot of trainers say its hard to win because the supporters. We bring 5.000 supporters to Santiago Bernabeu, Mourinho was shocked! :p

That is great support. PES2013 has the stadium down to a tee .All Spanish clubs will have their own stadium and intro anthems and I shall certainly be playing as Granada.

Are you happy with this TV deal ? All that seems to happen is that Barca and Real get bigger and bigger and can spend more money in the transfer market so in effect the Primera is reduced to a race for third and fourth.

Even Valencia cannot compete and in trying to catch up have incurred huge debts. Perhaps the Nou Mestalla might help them.

There was talk last year of the Sevilla chairman getting the other clubs to force a new collective TV deal but the big two don't want to end the status quo. Which is a shame.

Seems like there is a lot of politics still going on in the division.

As you can guess... We are not happy with this TV deal, but presidents don't do anything (apart of 3 o 4 teams) so I don't know when will it change. Now, La Liga is interesting in the fight for Europe, avoiding segunda... But champions fight is boring. We know that Madrid and Barcelona will win all the matches except 5 or 6 in all season...

Sevilla supporters made this "claim" saying: "Estoy hasta la polla del Bar*a y del Madrid" which basically means: "I'm up to my ****, about Bar*a and Madrid" (it rhymes in english, LOL!)

I've liked that Sevilla home end ever since I saw this video. It looks like a great atmosphere. I've been there once but it was Spain v England so wasn't quite the same atmosphere!

Actually, it was Alcorcon stadium, but Granada supporters went to Madrid to but the tickets there, so we did that)

    Hello Granada users!!

The latest comment from our owner is that we are waiting for proof of funds, then it will be completed. Our local rag (newspaper) understands that there will be a group of investors involved, as there is at Granada.

So my question is who are those investors at your club? Do you approve of it?

  29. rojiblancohorizontal

    rojiblancohorizontal First Year Pro

Well, in Granada the invest group is the Pina/Pozzo tandem, but "behind" some company (i can't remember the name right now)

Well that clearly shows the huge disparity in financial muscle and it's effect on the table more clearly than anything else I could say.

Would you be pleased if as the financial gap shows, to just remain in La Liga roji ? Say bobbing about in midtable or perhaps on the odd occasion getting to the later stages of the Copa del Rey and securing a Europe League spot ?

Or do you have fans who want to go that little bit extra ? We've had several clubs hwo were quite safe in the EPL but whose fans became bored and eventually forced the manager out and the club crashed. This includes one of our divisional rivals Charlton who were promoted last season.

Well, we want to have a quiet season this year, but I think every one of us wants to save, even if its at the last minute of the last match (Pina said that today during Anquela presentation).

We preffer to be in midtable, and I think we will. I think no one of us think about getting into EL (Athletic, Espanyol, Atletico, Sevilla... Those are the EL usually teams, hard to fight with them YET).

In Copa del Rey... This year we wanted to finish it soon, so we can focus on La Liga, this year I think we will get into later stages, but no way to get into the final... But hey! who knows?

Maybe, if we have a nice year, next year we will think to get into EL, one way or another.

If we have to choose, i think we prefer to be at mid table and get to later stages on Copa, would be nice to see.

(Anyway, of course, there are some hooligans fans who wants to get into Champions League, OF COURSE!! GRANADA SHOULD!! :D)

Added this onto my favourites toolbar :) Thank god for Google Translate.

Will be good to keep an eye on rumours of youngsters Udinese are looking to buy (future loans to us) and also any rumours about transfers to ourselves that come up from Italy and don't make it to the Watford newsnow.

Thanks again roji. :) Eminently sensible thinking. It seems as a body of fans we share the same pysche which should make for a harmonious relationship.

By the way can you spot Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes ? This is from PES2013:
