    Bonjourno Monica,

How do you see these move for the Pozzo family?

First of all we look with suspicion because it is difficult to maintain three major clubs. Here sindice that Fanchone, Vydra, Belek, Ekstrans will be the first loans. The salary is very low in Udine, how they can engage Zola when Di Natale guaina one milion per year?

I don't think our club's ever been described as a rose before, I think it must lose something in translation.

English people such as myself are lazy, are these players any good?

From the udinese blog, a rather poor translation.

Any fan of Watford, not without a good dose of humor, so he welcomed the news to see Gino Pozzo as the new owner of the club which was also Elotn John: "What a great day. The ribattezzerò as G-Day. "
Indeed there is much enthusiasm across the Channel for this entry: firstly, because coming to an end the era of Mr. Bassini, secondly, because Pozzo is seen as a possible savior of the fatherland. There are already those who hoped that Christmas can wear the shirt was that of Luther Blissett. Above all it aspires to the Premier League. And with Zola at the helm, an engagement that does not take pizza and figs.

The hope is that those shares had success with Udinese and Granada can also occur in 'Heretfordshire. There is, however, who fear that three clubs are difficult to maintain, despite the more than 100 players controlled by Pozzo. Above all, however, it is hoped that Pozzo is not like the last owners, we claim that a serious program and especially investment. Blame them?

Also because in English Championsship not serve the Latin American or Italian redundant: it serves a lot of people fighting for a free physical and tough. And of players with these characteristics Udinese does not possess many, unless it is meant turn Pinzi or Willians those parts. Unlikely.
So in addition to serving 30 million euros to buy the club (all figures reported by the media and British experts) will need at least another 10 to set up a competitive team. As expectations are many, a business card has a lot wrong over there.

And while in England you are already projects in Granada not everyone is excited about this move: in the forum dedicated to the Iberian team is already talk of escape, disposal, disengagement. Difficult though this will happen, because in addition to Torje are plans for at least 4 other loans from Udinese to strengthen the team Quique Pina.

The obvious question then is: why a football team you build a real international holding the ball? Especially how to manage without any upset anyone? The results obtained from Udinese should calm down around here, but the first envy coming on when we look at figures.
Turnover remains well over 240 million euros, considering the total value of the three roses (excluding that of other "controlled"). A great ride, which can only increase.

    and some more.

The surgical operation Watford was also fairly quiet and it's almost unbelievable that now passes almost unnoticed in the media. This while the English club has announced an agreement in principle between the parties. And while Zola and his assistant, Nani, I travel to England to evaluate the offer. The intention is, in fact, hiring the former Chelsea manager and his deputy, then you will start to talk about players. Nell'Heretfordshire you are already names: Vydra, Battocchio, Ekstrand, Neuton, Ighalo are just some of those that may be of interest for now. The ambition of the supporters of Watford is clear: to have a leadership which aims at promoting stable.

Pizza and figs. Love it. Wish that could be the words underneath my username.

That is perfectly understandable. Belek looks a very good player and Fanchone would be most welcomed as we need another Left back. Zola will hopefully be a good manager on a low pay as not many clubs are in for him. I'm sure Di Natale will stay at Udinese, he may be too old for the Championship and Premiership as they are both physical and wuick leagues.

    Monica Ciao Bella!

    Welcome to Watford FC Forum

We are a friendly group and wish you well.

We are very excited about linking with Udine and Granada.

Watford sounds like Udine and Granada. We are a small club who do well, in English we say "punch above our weight," a phrase from the sport boxing meaning that we fight opponents bigger than ourselves. It sounds like Udine and Granada do the same.

We also have a very good school for young players. Lots of foreign clubs have come to see how our school for young players works. It produces young players that we then sell to bigger clubs, again sounds like Udine and Granada do the same. A famous player from our school is Ashley Young now at Manchester United and the England football team.

We need a new Goalkeeper, a left sided midfielder and some strikers / forwards please.

    Hello Monica,

Do Udinese supporters regard Watford as somewhere that your younger players can go out on loan to for experience?

Do you know anything about Watford FC's Academy (Youth team set up)?

How does Udinese develop younger players?

Will Pozzo put money into Watford for developing our ground and infrastructure?

Would you expect Zola to arrive here? If so in what capacity?

    Thanks

Hello Monicav, we are not happy at changing managers and have reservations about another big name Italian manager after Gianluca Vialli.

Some of us worry that Zola does not know the league we play in. That his style will not be good in this league. Other people think he will bring in good players.

Vialli was manager here a few years ago, he wasted money on bad players and did not do well. Some fans worry Zola would be similar.

Also fans here like our current manager, he has done well with little money.

We are unsure as we very much like our current manager who near enough worked miracles on a limited budget and we will be sad to see him leave. Zola looks a good manager and the owners obviously rate him highly but it is too early to say yet.

Jean Alain Fanchone is a left back who appears to be on the way to us on loan.

Well you can tell Pozzo from me we need an experienced Goalkeeper please!

    Also an experienced striker.

Have you heard of the legend that is Lloyd Doyley - very similar to the immortal italian/Watford legend Luther Blisset - equally as loved at Watford. He even scored a goal once.

    Also who are your rivals?

We hate Luton Town (it pains me to say their name) it is a town full of racist, malformed, hooligans despised by most of the country.

What songs do you sing at Udine?

Not all of this sounds particularly positive. I'm not too worried about the running of 3 clubs...if they weren't able to manage they wouldn't have invested but the part about Granada being disjointed is a worry. We mustn't become a feeder club.

Whilst the Pozzo family own three clubs, they are all run individually and should not be a hassle. We are on the up.

Its difficult to see where this is all going, obviously we'll all have some clarification in the next week.

Out of interest, does anyone know what would happen if Granada got into the Champions League? I know its highly unlikely, but aren't there strict rules about owning more than one football club?

    Hi there!
I am an old Udinese's fan.
I think that Watford's fan should be very glad that Pozzos are the new owners of the club.
These pepole really understand about football, they have hundreds of watchers around the world and so they can discover lots of talents in all countries.
With them Udinese is almost stable in the first 6 of Serie A, while Granada has gone from 3rd to 1st division (Liga) in Spain.
Obviously in Udine we do not see very well that the Pozzos spend the money they get from Udinese (mainly and some from Granada) to acquire a new team in Uk instead of investing it in Udinese. I think that you can understand it on your own :)
    Ciao!
    Lorenzo
