He also got a 93rd minute winner against Forest. That was one game we were totally outplayed at home and was our only shot on target.

Are you watching the same video as the rest of the world?

Both were shocking keeper errors. First one, a fk the keeper should've dealt with. 2nd he got a touch but it went right under him, and trickled into the net.

  7. Caskey

The first goal was at least 36 yards out which sailed into the top corner. No keeper in the world would have saved that.

The other goal was poor keeping. If you don't shoot you don't score. At least give him some credit instead of posting negative rubbish.

Come on now, buckles wasn't shooting for the first, keeper should have dealt with it. And the second, that was a dreadful shot straight at the keeper that some how has gone in?!

First was a complete fluke, second was awful goal keeping.

That said Buckley is the exact player we lack right now, never should have let him go in my opinion.

Interview with Buckley. It's funny how Watford fans on here were slating us for being dirty and not a pretty side side to watch. Well Buckley thinks different and even mentions we are a much better footballing side than You

Will Buckley believes that the combination of a run of games and Albion's style of football will allow him to reach his potential.

The 22-year-old has started five consecutive Albion games for the first time since signing from Watford during the summer, and he believes that contributed to an impressive performance at Peterborough yesterday, where he netted a brace.

He told Seagulls.co.uk, "The run of games has given me that extra match sharpness and fitness. It's that confidence and sharpness which is in my game at the moment and it's working for me.

"When I was picking up niggling injuries it took its toll on me and I couldn't get fully fit. Hopefully, now that I'm on a run of five starts and featuring in the last ten games it will allow me to reach my potential.

"I want to make more starts and hopefully that will help my goals tally too. I just want to start as many games as possible.

"No disrespect to Rochdale or Watford but this is the best footballing team that I have played in. Watford had their style of play and Brighton have their style too which is totally different, but this works for Brighton and for me.

"As a winger I love the way that we pass and move the ball because it gives me a bit more time to get at the left-back or right-back, which is what I want to do."

Buckley also admitted that his opener - a 35-yard free-kick - had an element of fortune to it, when he looped the ball over Peterborough keeper Joe Lewis.

"I wasn't shooting but I just tried to get a good connection on the ball and put it in the right area. If you put the ball in the right place anything can happen, and thankfully it went in.

"I felt like we dominated the first half and we probably should have gone into half-time with a bigger lead. But it was just 1-0 and it's always difficult when we are on the road. We felt comfortable but they did get a goal which set us back a bit; thankfully we got the winner though."

Buckley was also full of praise for Torbjorn Agdestein, who set up his all-important second goal.

Well everyone says that about their current employer. He's not going to say, 'I like Brighton, but on the whole it can't match the thrill of turning out for Rochdale'.

Brighton are typical of those teams that hit the ground running in a new division, win a bit and then run out of steam. Next year will be very hard.

Southampton however seem to have really cracked it. Must really please everyone on the south coast.

    Lucky to be 0-0

    Buckles still cannot defend

EDIT - Newcastle also doing their best to outroll Brighton. Difference being, the newcastle players are actually being fouled ...

We played our own total football against Spuds, and there was no diving, cheating, fouling or ref-whining from us. Played them off the park.

I don't understand why you are so obsessed with Buckley Caskey. We bought him for squat, he didn't play for 6 months, then played about 2/3 of our games and only really turned up for 7 or 8 of them. Spent a lot of time dropped and injured, and then we got a cool £1m for him, which is a decent wedge.

He could turn out to be the next Aaron Lennon but it wouldn't matter, £1m was a good price. We were in no position to turn down £1m for a player who had at best played a bit-part in the season and at worst been a passenger. Would rather have two Don Cowies than two Buckleys based upon his time with us.

If he kicks on and improved then fair enough, but Brighton paid a fair price for him, its not like he was taken on a free. I would say £1m was pretty much spot on. If we were Ipswich we could have got more, but we aren't.

Did you see how fast Buckley was ?

This young lad just gets better with each game and i'm confident we now have a 5 million pound player on our books.

Wasn't a classic game but we are thorough to the next round while picking up a decent pay packet.

How many Watford fans watched Buckley yesterday and wished what might have been.

Fingers crossed we get another top draw today so wish me luck.

Sorry but Buckley has been coached to a new level by our staff so no disrespect to Watford.

Good result and Buckley looked too good for the Championship, if he could bring consistency to his game he could be a good Prem winger.

Not me, clearly our staff wouldn't be able to coach him to that amazing new level.

On a serious note, different managers get different players to perform well. It doesn't mean that Gus & 'Buckles' are amazing, just that they appear to work well together. I mean, Tamas Priskin was rubbish until Rodgers took over (and has been rubbish since!). Marlon King worked very well under Aidy (until they fell out). I'm not convinced Buckley would be performing well if he was still here, maybe he's just more settled at Brighton. Seems the sort who would enjoy the Brighton night life...

Look Casky, when he left us I was well pleased to get £1m for him, because although he could be just as good as he was yesterday when he was still with us on the odd occasion, unfortunately most of the time he was quite frankly pretty lame!!!

He may, or may not, have matured since he left us, I really don't know or care?

If he has, then good luck to him and you, but stop crowing about it, because we are very satisfied with the deal we got, and at the time we definitely had the better end of that deal IMO!!!

I've provided a link for any Hornets who regrettably missed Buckles winning goal.

This young lad has absolutely everything. Electrifying pace, abundance of skill, superb temperament, good looks,Premiership class finishes and above all else he is tied down on a 4 year contract.

Ok he got lucky with the goal with a wicked deflection but as they say you make your own luck. Just have a look at how far he ran with the ball and how quick.

Brighton have completed the loan signing of 22 year old Sam Vokes from Wolves until the end of the season.

This is the exact type of player we need to play alongside CMS. If all goes well it will become permanent in the summer.

Fingers crossed we pull off another two signings which Gus has hinted about. One a midfield playmaker and another a young defender from Falkirk.
