yep the only thing i could see happening otherwise is both titles ending up on raw and a unification match. not sure they would ever unite the two big belts though.

Never say never. The depth of the roster is not too great these days. All of the following are coming to the end of their careers

    Mysterio
    Undertaker
    Kane
    HHH
    Big Show
    Christian
    R Truth

They've tried pushing some of the young guns like Kingston, Macintire, Morrison, Swagger but they've failed to get over. And they've pretty much killed off the Tag division stone dead.

Del Rio might make it, but I'm not sure about any of the other newbies, Shamus maybe

I'd like to see Brodus Clay do well as he offers something different. Funny that he came runner up in NXT and the winner is nowhere to be seen. Also I reckon Mason Ryan needs to go monster on Nexus and a run of squashes. He could be big.

It's going to be interesting to see how they book Awesome Kong/Kharma. I'm not sure they've got a credible opponent but the womens div really needs sorting out.

i wouldnt mind if they unified the world titles and then brought back the tag division.

    i would have:

WWE World Heavyweight Title (unification of wwe championship and world heavy championship)
    US Championship (on Raw)
    Intercontinental title (on Smackdown)
Two tag titles; one for both raw and smackdown, i dont like the fact that they unified them. I think the holders of either title should be allowed to fight on each brand.
    One womens championship

the only credible opponent for kong/kharma is going to be beth phoenix. unfortunately the womens division whilst possessing some talented divas does not have anyone who can get on the mic and get any real emotion from the crowd.

with regards to morrison, he obviously has the talent, but until he gets a shot at being champion, he will carry on being a high midcarder.

    how i see the next couple of months going;

WWE championship = miz loses to morrison at extreme rules, morrison beats miz in rematch but is attacked by r-truth. truth fights but loses against morrison. morrison to hold the title for 2-3 months.

World heavyweight championship = christian to take vacant title at extreme rules. christian to start feud with mark henry and randy orton.

tag titles = big show and kane for some time yet.

womens title = not a clue

us championship = sheamus to hopefully hold for a while yet.

intercontinental title = wade barrett to lose title to sin cara.

Agreed expect I think one unified tag team title is fine. There's not enough teams to warrant two separate belts and cobboling together midcarders because they have no other plotlines rarely works.

Usos - disappeared recently, decent team but zero Charisma and mike skills
Santino/Kozlov - probably the most over team at the moment.
Gabriel/Slater - working well but zero mic skills
Kane/Show - could work but not so sure there is a credible contender to the pairing
Unitl 2 weeks ago I would have said putting Edge & Christian together again would have worked.

    Cant think of any others?

    Dudebusters? are they still about?
Archer & Hawkins I thought were good but I think they've gone again.

i dunno, i think if they were to have a real go at creating a tag team division, there is quite a few poss pairings out there.

Hart Dynasty; why oh why did they split these two up!!! made no sense whatsoever.
    The Uso's; young but potential.
Kane and Show; nice team, experienced, good lead for the division.
Kozlov and Santino; comedy element here, but i do actually enjoy watching these two even though the comedy is quite slapstick.
The Corre; slater and gabriel, neither has enough yet to be individual stars
Nexus; otunga and mcgillicutty/fat guy who got punted by orton

    possible teams;
South of the Border = mysterio and sin cara
Brothers of destruction = kane and taker
JeriShow = jericho and big show, were actually a good tag team not too long ago, jericho to return soon anyway
European Connections = sheamus and drew mcintyre
american dreams = evan bourne and daniel bryan

it is possible to make some good teams there, especially using some of the mid-carders.

i agree i quite liked archer and hawkins.

This is good to hear. Unlike Warehouse though, I think TNA has recruited well from the WWE. The stars they've got are genuine quality, although many of them are getting on a bit.

However, they will never beat WWE at it's own game. They need to create their own identity and create a franchise which rivals WWE. Hopefully if they come anywhere near as close as WCW did, back in the day, it will be good for the industry as WWE will have to step up its game too.

With WWE being PG it gives TNA the chance to do stuff WWE cant. TNA is not doing aswell as it should be doing. This is because the storylines are just awful. People dont want to see Sting & Jarrett in big matches anymore.

This is my main issue. I know some of the top WWE stars are also a bit older but in comparsion to TNA, WWE has far superior starpower. Having Hulk Hogan/Bischoff running things isn't a good idea either.

    Totally agree.

Update: Apparently TNA today filed for a trademark on the term 'Impact Wrestling' and bought the domain 'www.impactwrestling.com.

Also, apparently Hogan was asked today if he could bring in any big name to TNA who would it be, and he replied 'Goldberg, he would blow the roof off the place'. If TNA somehow manage to bring Goldberg back to wrestling I may well cry with happiness.

    Meh!

Goldberg was only good because he was booked as a monster and TBH TNA have reported money issues and he's an expense they can do without.

Abyss, Matt Morgan or even god forbid Rob Terry could be booked like that goign psycho over people and squashing them in seconds.

TNA need to realise that they have an as good in not better roster than WWE. They just need to get rid of Russo, book them properly with storylines that don't just finish for no reason.

The best signing TNA can make is Paul Heyman in creative.

    They need to Dump
    Hogan
    Bishoff
    Russo
Fat Hardy, Jeff Hardy (rumours he is coming back) unless they can sort themselves out of course
    Anarquia
    Murphy
    Sting
    RVD

Mike Tenay needs to makeway for Borash or Desmond Woolfe on comentry
Mick Foley needs to act as GM.

Abyss & Terry need to be booked as unstoppable monsters maybe with Flair as a manager.
The Angle Jarrett / Jarrett Karen thing needs to end, it's just painfull.

They have a pretty good women's, lightweight and tag divisions, something the WWE can't compete with, they need to throw the spotlight on these belts.

All that being said, I'm preferring TNA to WWE at the moment.

Can't agree with that as I absolutely loved Goldberg and he was on another level entirely in terms of charisma and intensity to all those guys you posted above, but I agree with pretty much everything else except letting RVD and Sting go. Sting is a legend, one of the only major draws in TNA and importantly can still wrestle, there is absolutely not reason to let him go.

Tenay needs to be replaced, as does Taz, they are both f**king awful. Bring in Borash and bring back Don West to partner him.

Paul Heyman would be fantastic but he wants total control of TNA, and they've never been willing to give him that unfortunately, and until they are, he won't be part of TNA.

Russo is a virus and needs to be banned from having anything to do with any wrestling company in the world.

Hogan and Bischoff have done nothing but take TNA backwards and turn it into WWE lite and can p*ss off as well.

I agree about the lightweight and tag divisions, the X Division used to be one of the best things about TNA and they've killed it, if they want to move forward one of the main things they need to do is push that forward again.

I'm not suprised you prefer TNA at the moment, but that says more about the state of the WWE than anything.

This is correct. Impact Wrestling is now known as Allwrestling.com.

Goldberg ey, cor that brings me back.

Even with The Rock and Stone Cold coming back to WWE I still haven't watched it.

May have a day to catch up on a few matches.

The days of The Rock and Stone Cold were fantastic to say the least. Loved it.

Well thast was a suprise, I thought Layla was on her way out. Kharma is looking like she is being booked well also. It'll be interesting to see who her first proper match is.

TNA have officially changed their name to 'IMPACT Wrestling', announced tonight on the show. The website has already changed dramatically and they are advertising www.impactwrestling.com (which links to tnawrestling.com at the moment) before phasing it out completely along with the name TNA and it's logo.

After the program ended there were interviews with the stars of IMPACT where they also made a big deal about how from now on IMPACT is going to be about wrestling and not the politics and soap opera, also having a dig at WWE with the interviewer saying "...the other company has really turned their back on who they are and how they got there".

Savage was one of my boyhood favourites. Had good ring ability coupled with one of the biggest characters. Unlike many others, all stories of him outside the ring are positive too.

    How funny is this.

Awesome Kong has a disagreement with TNA (She allegedly assaulted Bubba the Love Sponge, for criticising US giving aid abroad).

WWE pick up her contract and spend months and lots of money building her up.

Only for her to become pregnant after 4 appearances which puts her on the inactive list for 9 months.

I for one am sorry as I think she would have made a good Impact (pun intended) on the Divas division.

Randys the man, great wrestler, been a fan of his for years. the matcah against Sheamus was very good indeed. well worthy of being world heavyweight champ. And i think it maybe nearly time for Christian to be punted in the head!

Back in the day of the rock, stone cold amongst other legends, wwe was amazing. I stopped watching it a few years after stone cold left though, think it was the same time orton cena and king bookers were established wrestlers.
