If it was you picking the squad who would be in it and why would you leave out whoever you have done ?

Agreed with Nak apart from Gabby instead of Heskey. You have Crouch and Cole for height and Cole for physical presence, need some pace on the bench. Maybe Carrick in for one of the midfielders but not sure which, yet.
That's why I went for Defoe over Ashley Young. To have some pace up front. So many things could change up until next summer (injures, form etc.) so I guess we can make a better decision nearer the time.
Nak, why SWP over Walcott? Is this due to injuries or just not rating him? As Nak said, so many things can change that it is not worth even thinking about. For all you know, Dean Ashton might come back in Jan and get 15 goals till end of season and thus get in, Ashley Young might to get off web camming and play well again, Beckham might trip over his beard and get injured and Spurs Scott Loach might make a late cliam after his impressive form (especially long range shots) since January:]]
so many things can happen between now and next summer but theres not that many English players to choose from, that the squad more or less picks itself apart from a few.

Walcott isn't playing much at the moment and I feel his end product is poor. Whilst I rate SWP highly.
Sorry but the reason he is not playing much is because he has been injured??? He made one appearance and scored for Arsenal and then done the same for the under 21's. And as for no end product, this is the lad that got a hat trick away from against Croatia. If you are talking about no-end product, I have yet to see much from Wright-Philips apart from the odd lucky goal like Weds and as for Aaron Lennon, if get your head down. run as fast as you can and then hit a cross behind the goal line, he is your man. I would be willing to put my money where my mouth is a say a score of a fit Walcott ahead of either SWP or Lennon.
Maybe he's been injured but still not playing first team football leaving him not match fit, I'm sure he will be by 2010 but based on the current situation I would not pick him although if he get's fully fit and plays well then of course I'd pick him. Walcott scored a few but his crossing is poor. For some reason I struggle to rate him greatly, he probably will be very good when he's older but at the moment I still feel he needs work. Wright-Phillips is fast, strong, hard working, good crosser and scores goals (showed it yesterday and for Man City). He's also experienced, mature and can deal with pressure. Lennon's end product is very inconsistent, especially for Spurs but he seems to do a lot better when playing for England. He has done well for Spurs as well, along with playing regularly.

Peter Crouch should go, because he's the tallest and Agbonlahor because he's the fastest. Lampard is the heaviest. Who else should be in the squad by virtue of their record breaking physical attributes?
Chris Woods Peter Shilton David Seaman Paul Parker Keith Curle Mark Wright Tony Adams Terry Butcher Stuart Pearce Chris Powell Stuart Ripley Carlton Palmer Andy Sinton David Platt Jason Wilcox Bryan Robson Geoff (Jeff) Thomas Peter Reid Ian Wright Luther Blissett Les Ferdinand Michael Ricketts Darius Vassell
Darius Vassell never had a bad game for England. I'd like to see Darius Henderson and Darius Danesh given a go too.
I am afraid to say that he is scotish Moog, he was on the bench last week against Japan after 543 of their players were ruled out through injury. Don Cowie just made it on ahead of him.
He may be scottish but its a cracking name. I bet his mum and dad were well chuffed when they come up with it. I bet theyre drug dealer made a few bob out of it an'all.
