So where has our answer to "Aaron Lennon" gone?

Another "one for the future" disappeared it seems.

May as well let him stay at Hereford with Robinson and Tiggy!

Hes only 20 yrs old and has been for 4 months and cant get into to the team because of Smith and McAnuff. He has terrific pace and I reckon in about 1 or 2 years he could be a first teamer here as Tommy Smith isnt excatly fast and will only be getting slower so we will need more pace on the wing.

I agree he is young and could be a decent player but Aidy does seem to big up these players (maybe for confidence) and then doesn't use them even as sub...

He's hardly had any chances because Tommy Smith has been soo good for us this season. Right wing is where he is most effective.

He can still come good for us.

I certainly think we should explore this option, at least as an experiment from the bench. The lad can't cross a road, never mind a football, but his pace through the centre might give defences a new problem to think about if our usual tactic of bombing it at Doris' head is not working after 65 minutes.

He's got pace and skills, but he's just another 'hopeful', and therefore could turn out to be a decent player, or could fade away like most of the others.

What did kabba do wrong to get kicked out the team? He was bright and looked like a changed player...

And you're able to tell that about a very young player that's just stepped up two leagues from a couple of starts and a hand full 10 minute sub appearances? :dismay:

If this was Ellington we were talking about here, I'm sure chewitt would be creaming his pants, and screaming "Ooo OOOO yes! Going to be a fantastic player!! He's muslim, so you can't slag him off etc"

    What a deluded view Chewitt...

Yep, he's an impact player who lets face it won't become a regular in the first team especially if we go up.

Oh dear, how horribly innaccurate, i've never raved about Ellington to the extent you claim, i've merely had the sense to appreciate the good things he does unlike you who's personal vendetta against him blights your opinion and continues to invalidate your argument against him.

I've rarely commented on his religion unlike some.

None the less you do rave about him.

Personal vendetta? Yes, Nathan Ellington has personally offended me.... I dislike him because hes Fat (nothing wrong with that, but there is when you're a "pro" sportsman) Lazy, imcompetent, and his attitude stinks.

Hardly a personal vendetta, that's more what you have towards certain members on here, most noticeably Olzy and his views towards Hoskins.

No need to bring up Ellington AT ALL there.

    Agreed.

That's because Olzy's views on Hoskins are *****ing stupid, such as "Aidy couldn't manage his talent" - nobody has ever said anything THAT stupid about Ellington.

Hoskins was woeful his whole time here. He didn't score a single goal - Ellington has. Your argument = out the window.

You don't **** Ellington, just loads of rubbish into this (and the multiple assorted threads where you harp on about Ellington) post. ;)

Hoskins has always been out of position for us.... Never said he was good either, just said he runs.

Your come back is out of the window (hopefully like your bum boy stewart in the next transfer window)

Ohh trust me after a night out I shyte similar content to Ellingphant

How can you say Ellington is fat? He is built like a brick **** house.. Prehaps he needs to bulk down a bit in order to gain that yard of pace he clearly is lacking????

    Ahhh the Hoskins debate.......

He hasnt even had a 1st team start in the league this season.....

Ellington took a while to score as did Kabba so that arguement is crap.

As for managing talent... I mean getting the best of out him... he obviously has talent some may not see it... but then again could be linked to style of play and poor attitude which Hoskins may have.....

To be honest I may agree with all of you who dislike / think he is so crap but how can we judge at this level when he didnt even get a chance? I think that is fair enough to say?

About Ellington, I can't be bothered to argue, we're going to go round in circles until the time so I'm not going to carry it on.
