No rumour that i know off..Just wondering what you guys think about a bid for David Nugent or a loan signing in January. His not starting many games at Portsmouth but was Prestons' best player in the championship.
I'd like to see him here in January, could give Henderson some competiton or even cover for Hendo, seeing as Priskin got batterd around at the Plymouth game!

Funny enough I was thinking about this the other day, can't actually see it happening but he's hardly getting a sniff at Pompey.

Could be a good call, but I don't think Aidy will be able to sign another striker after the amount of money he payed for Ellington who hasn't been given the chance :dismay:. Shame really as I'de have like to have seen Nugent at the Vic or perhaps Luke Moore from Villa, heard he wanted out and he's out of contract soon.

No a bad shout, but with Kanu, Utaka and Benjani going away for the African cup of nations (or whatever it's called) they're going to be extremley light on strikers!

They'll be adding come January, not selling!

In fact it's well known down in certain parts of the South Coast that Redknapp is a big admirer of King and he was trying to sign him just before we signed him on a permanent deal in 05/06.

Don't be too shocked if King ends up at Pompey or somewhere like that come January!

if king goes or if aidy decides he needs another striker i wouldn't be surprised to see him have another go at HH.

I'd swap King for Nugent, if Harry was up for it?

Ted Nugent? I reckon he'd be an awesome signing.

I'm not convinced about his Premiership credentials. Has he actually scored for them yet? I know he's not started many games but from memory he had some woeful misses at the start of the season.

    No thanks.

I didn't rate him THAT highly in the championship, let alone in the Premiership.
