i know all the HH rumors r in the past:yawn1: now but when i saw the amount of games he plays at bolton disgusted me. 1 appearance & 2 as sub really shocked me. cant be happy.why not have a go again, aidy? maybe on loan or something.
We have better I reckon. If he can't get in the team at Bolton then he can't be impressing in training. Bolton are ****ing awful.
He had his chance and he blew it. Davies, Anelka and Diouf are all better than him. Was he ever going to get a game, Europe or no Europe? Of course not. Unlucky HH.
The move was all about the money. Who can blame him? He's only got a couple of years left in him, so he's gone for the 'last big payday' option.
I echo the above, he had his chance. For me he also celebrated just a little too much when he scored at the Vic last season. Still a legend but just a little tainted for me now. Could have been one of the greats here :dismay:
Same with DJ campbell,Eastwood and Sharp...they rejected us if you believe rumours but are not regular starters at their clubs. Mind you nor is the forward we actually brought!
surely he must only just be returning from injury, wasnt he out for 7 weeks halfway through september?
He went nuts which I wasn't overly impressed with. As for having him back I really don't see what he would add that we haven't already got at this point in time.
He's had an achilles problem, meaning he's not been available for selection. This would make him a risk, as was Kabba for a similar problem when at Sheff Utd. HH would be top dollar for an aging, injury prone player, feisty as he is.
Having Heider as backup for Hendo (or vice versa) would be a good bit of risk management, in the same way as Ellington was basically bought as a backup for King. If we could get Helguson for a million or two, it would be a huge asset to us. As it stands, our main injury risk is Henderson and we do not really have anyone who could replace him without changing our playing style. Whether we should change our style or not is another matter, but I suspect most would agree that the middle of a season is probably not a good time to experiment, especially not when it is forced on us.
