I will be home (as in plymouth) for the game.... who wants to meet? where? is anyone staying overnight? and what are the chances of me getting a ticket?!
Nikki, If you can't get a ticket pm me. I have a ticket for my daughter but it is really unlikely that she can go. You have to be under 16 for the day - (now that poses some interesting thoughts
Or try the Embassy right by the ground, friendly pub although they may not take too kindly to the normal wigs, jester hats and clappy stix that so many will be taking.
:]] :]] :]] or reference to the PM's Whatever mate we need to avoid the pennycomequick. A few decent alternatives are on offer.
how come youre not going to the pennycomequick? despite being from there, i dont know about away pubs, seeing as im a watford supporter and last time i went, i ended up drinking with my argyle mates cos i didnt know you lot!
thanks for that. i managed to get one though. although it would have been fun to be under 16 for the day!! i was a right tearaway back in those days!!
Nicki if your around after the game me, Reveley and several others are going straight out afterwards starting in Walkabout staying sun night
thinking the pennycomequick. although i think theres a breakaway group off somewhere else... no idea where though
well, im out of the loop so will be in the penny. what time are you arriving in plym? you coming on your own?
im flying to london on my own yes but going to the game with my uncle and cousin going on the coach so whenevr that gets there, ill be in the bar!!:]] when you flying over?
ah ok. so long as you wont be getting to plym on your own. im already in the UK. back for my grandpas funeral, which is why i get to go to the game... so ill be back in plym thursday but then back up to visit my grandma cos its her birthday on the saturday. then steaming back down the A38 to get to the pub sunday morning.
Coaches will be staggered leaving. I can't see the first coaches setting off until 10.30. You then have 3 stops approx 1 x 60 mins and 2 x 15 mins. So already you are at 12.00 and haven't moved yet Shortest route is M25, M3, A303 etc, the Police are not allowing coaches to take that route (apparently). So the coaches will go M4, M5 about twenty miles longer. You then have road works on the M4 and M5. Turnstiles open at 4.30 which is about when you will arrive. If you do make good time, you will be stacked and held outside the city anyway. Sorry to bring bad news mate, beer in the ground
ahhh feck. anyways im irish. if we get there with 10mins to spare = 11pints!!!!!!!!!:]] :]] :]] :]] :]] i dont aslong as im going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just drink on the coach, like me,and then you'll be fine. Doesnt matter if we're there a little later then others, as long as we are there
lol:]] ill bring something irish so you can recognise me!!!!!!!! (although guiness in either hand may be sufficient:]] ) like they accent ehh?
