Totally agree. Give it a year or two and we'll enjoy it more when were more prepared.
I have enjoyed watching premiership teams though.

yeh i have to be honest, as much as watching premiership teams play each other are i dont find much pleasure in watching them when they are patronising us and lets face it...kicking our asses.

    It's a funny game football.

Business (head) side of me says Premiership it annoys me the way football is now.
My heart on the other hand is definatly missing the championship... like someone else said, better prices, away days better etc. ;)

However, Here I am watching Spurs v Man U and Mancs are winning 4-0 like they did with us on Weds. Does that show that we are in same league as Tottenham? Don't forget that when they played us at vic rd we should have won as imo the goal should have been allowed.

I still have hope in us yet. I might be the only one i dont know, but we can still push up away from relegation. ???

To be honest and ask this ? to yourself, if you go to most games can you be arsed who you are playing against, it is all about the day out, ok it is nice to get the dosh in the Premiership and visit Man U and Newcastle , Liverpool etc, to me it is about the people you travel with, having a laugh and going to places like Hull, Burnley, QPR etc etc etc , we will never be a big team our history shows that.

I would be worried if you can manage to just go for the football and feel you have enjoyed yourself.

I prefer Championship though if we were always to stay there wed have no overall aim. I want to gain one london club scalp this season for sheer bragging rights Tottenham or Chelsea i really dont mind.

i 100% prefer the champ... ok so the passing and movement is better in the prem, but the champ is less predictable, the matches are more competitive the atmosphere is better and there is less diving... altho maybe if we could win more in the prem i might be sayin the opposite

Correct...all of the above is spot on fella!

Plus you don't have to organise your away games a month in advance...you can go on the spur of the moment and pay on the gate, rather than phoning up on a monday morning to listen to 'yellow brick road' for 2 hours!

No more glory hunters/big club hunters (whatever you want to call them...just ****s really)!

The Championship like you say is much less predictable and although the quality is better in the Prem, the excitement is even more so in the Championship! I said this last season and I said it this season aswell...i'd rather be in the fizzy pop league!

Personally I prefer the Conference, that's why I now support Weymouth :D .....nah only kidding, each league has its plus points. But what I will be happy with back in the fizzy pop league is a reduction in the over critical and sometimes hurtful rubbish written about us by the wonderful national press.
