From my opinions listening to 3CR Foster 6 Mariappa DeMerit 6 Mackay 9 Stewart 7 Smithy 7 Francis 5 BangBang 6 MacNamee 8 Hendo 6 Ashikodi 8 Bench Lee Ash 7 Powell Doyley Tiggy 7
Foster - 6 - Nothing to do all game Mariappa - 7 - Some good runs, looked composed on the ball Mackay - 7 - Looked vunerable at times, but did well to score the two goals Demerit - 7 - Solid Stewart - 7 - Some good crosses, looked a bit exposed down the left at times McNamee - 8 - Decent performance. Looked dangerous Francis - 6 - Didn't contribute to anything - attacking or defending Bangura - 7 - Solid in the middle, didn't put a foot wrong Smith - 7 - Some good runs in the first half. Quiet in the second. Henderson - 6 - Put himself about but nothing really significant Moses - 8 - Great determination, some nice touches, deserved his goal
From my opinions in the Rookery!! Foster 5- quiet afternoon, only one thing to do and conceded. Mariappa 7- coming along well, should shine next season!! DeMerit 6- steady. Mackay 8- opportunist 1st goal, brave second, a fans favourite. Stewart 6- gave ball away in second half, improving steadily. Smithy 7- lucky with goal, kept on running. Francis 4- very poor, made midfield look mediocre, must try harder. BangBang 7- grasped run in team well, above MS & DF in pecking order. McNamee 7- ran tiredlessly, few good tricks, asthma now in the past. Hendo 6- no excuses not to score. confidence rock bottom. Ashikodi 8- exciting, took goal well, hungry & lively. Bench Ash 6- came on to steady game, could have scored a cracker, just wide. Tiggy 7- between him & DF he's better, effort good, passing improving. Doyley 5- not alot to do, came on only because of MM's injury.

Foster 6 - Made one very good save towards the end. Mariappa 6 - Never really troubled. Makay 8 - Solid performance and TWO goals DeMerit 7 - Solid. Stewart 6 - An OK game. Smith 7 - worked so incredibly hard down the right. Francis 6(just) - Didn't look too interested and passing wasn't great. Bangura - 7 - Got about the pitch very well. Macca 7 - Good delivery and some nice showboating at the end. Hendo 7 - Did alright, should have scored before smith finished. Ashikodi - Deserved his goal and seemed to be very interested in proving himself. Showed great pace and it paid off when the keeper errored. Technically ok, rusty in places but it'll come. Subs: Young 7 and the 2 others a 6.
Foster 6- not much to do, fealt with a few good corners Mariappa 7- impressed with him again DeMerit 6- OK Mackay 6 - 8/10 for goals, 4/10 for defending Stewart 6- more kung foo defensive clearences and less slices today Smithy 8 - highest mark i have ever given him, gave the full back the run around all day Francis 3- cut our loses and send him to norwich BangBang 6 - must learn to pass better McNamee 7 - faided a bit in second half after brilliant first half performance Hendo 5- should have scored the second, worked hard again Ashikodi 7- good attitude, will have to learn to head better with our style of play Subs Tiggi 7 - very promising, like the way he passes the ball around Ash 7 - looked classy Lloyd 6 - not much time to impress but can't remember him slicing it off for a throw today
From what I read Hendo had two assists and yet you're rating him very low. If he had 15 goals coming into this game would you rate him the same?
He had his back to goal and a defender in between him and the net! Yet you expected him to score. The truth is most selfish strikers would have shot and won a corner at the very best. He had the sense to hold it up and lay it off to Smith for an easy goal and you criticise him?
well perhaps on reflection 5 is a little harsh (would give him a 6 now) but i still feel an attacker should be there scoring goals and he had a good chance to score but took the easier option to pass (or was it a miss hit shot?)
Foster 5- not much to do.Terrible, distribution and kicking. Mariappa 7- solid. DeMerit 7- did what was needed Mackay 6 - If it wasn't for the goals he would have got a 3 - quite poor. Stewart 6- Smith 7 - good going forward - needed to track back more. Francis 4- is he interested? BangBang 5 - as bad as Francis today - surprising. McNamee 7 - good in patches. How can i guy jump around so much and the ball doesn't move Hendo 6- Again, hard work but desperately needs a goal. Ashikodi 7- needed the game but i like his attitude. Come on son. Subs Tiggi 6- Ash 8 - you could see the quality Lloyd 6 - this was his level.
Foster 6 kicking poor Mariappa 7 very good should of had a pen DeMerit 6 solid Mackay 7 great two goals thought he had a hard game against thier no.10 Stewart 7 great shot 1st half Smithy 6 done well please he got himself a goal Francis 5 at best. 1st touch poor passing poor come back Gav BangBang 6 played well passed well MacNamee 8 Great to watch motm Hendo 5 even against these he didn't have the best of games. Don't he can buy a goal. Ran around a lot and tries perhaps to hard at times Ashikodi 7 Looks good, off side a lot tho.
