I think Henderson, although not putting goals away, is still what we need up front WITH A GOOD STRIKER. Imagine how crap is must be to defend against such a big and powerful striker, if we get someone in the transfer window who can finish a ball like king can, then have Hendo giving the defence difficulties and we will have a brilliant strike force.

Another thing should be Jordan Parkes on left back i think he would do exellent compared to what stewart is doing

 

I dont think perks is ready yet but is one for the future , js is improving and is better than he was , but every one seems to forget that hes not a left back.

 

I don't think Jordan Parkes is ready for Premiership footy just yet. He is a good young player but needs a little more experience. (in an ideal world)

 

stewart was a natural left sided midfielder. haven't seen jp yet but i've promising things about him.

hendo is a handful but is manageable defensively. he is big and strong but once the ball is at his feet he's too slow and stumbles over the ball.
might see a new side to him with a new striker

 

i dont think he shud even be looked at as anything more than a backup after the transfer window if we manage to get 2 stikers in

No Jordan Parkes is far from ready to play premiership football and Chris Powell should start against Wigan. His experience is just what we need at a time like this, call head and a good influence on the team.
Stewart had been doing fairly well but been a little dodgy last game or two.

Having seen how well we played without him on boxing day and imo the negative effect he had on the game when he did come on I would not play him. I think we play better football and are more creative without him.

I agree completely... he brings nothing constructive to the games IMO.
We were doing fine on boxing day without him then he had to come on and the whole team play changed instantly... lets hope aidey noticed that too.

 

he does try. works hard. but has no luck, and not enough class for this league. if or when he goes to fizzy pop league, he will get goals. thats life.

 

That is why I am worried by the injuries, since it might just force us to go back to where we were a week ago in terms of gameplans instead of the excellent display against Arsenal

 

we cannot fault the lads work rate. he his a team player.

 

I think Hendo has a part to play but off a front man not up on his own or even alongside Ash.

 

I don't deny that, but I think the first 70 mins of the Arsenal game showed we play better without him?

 

Exaclty as we had a good partnership up there. I wonder how Hendo and Noddy would do up front with Ash and Macca on the wings?
