...maybe we'll be left thinking what if we'd scored all the chances we had and not made all the elementary mistakes leading to opposition goals! At the end of the day our league status comes down to us, no one else.
whats that you were saying earlier UEA about 'are you being sarcastic, les reed has signed a five year contract...'? I predicted Reed would be out by February, didnt think he'd be gone within the evening!
I think they'll still get relegated. Their side is pants, they'll probably have even less money less to spend than us and Pardew was hardly doing wonders this season with a West Ham side which has a far better squad.
Who cares? What does it matter now anyway? As has been said before it's down to us how we do. If we won all our league games it wouldn't matter who other people had. We just have to get on with it, business as usual vs Arsenal.
Ahh goals!! I remember when we used to put that sphere in the onion bag. Bought tears to my eyes. :'(
Everyone down the bottom could lose all their games but if we don't get any more points we'll be bottom. Obvious.
Nah you were spot on, fair play. Never saw that one coming, just shows how stupid the game is getting at the top that clubs would rather chop and change and throw money at contracts rather than taking a longer term view.
Your dead right mate, its ridiculous. Makes you appreciate simpson and co that little bit more. To be fair though, the way charlton were playing it was inevitable somthing would need to be done! And to think Les Reed used to be the FA Technical Director!
Good coaches don't necessarily make good managers I guess is the moral there somewhere. I've actually said elsewhere on here I'd like to see Aidy bring him into the coaching staff - afterall, he wrote the book on coaching so must know a fair bit.
We shoudn't rely on other teams to lose so we can achieve a good place in the league. If we dont win our matches then its our problem and we're just going to have to deal with that. We have had so many chances to win games that have ended up as draws and its all down to taking our chances and that is what we havn't been doing. We need to take our chances as we have had so so so many and arent taking them. Becca x
yes, we should be getting results our selves, and we should have got more points if we had better finisher, concentrated more to see a game out or had taken some of our many chances; however we should still look out to see whether the likes of charlton etc. loose, as it is going to be a struggle to the end, and it is nice to see us still in competition with the other clubs around us. I too wait with baited breath in regards to the signings (if we dont get a decent striker i think im going to kill myself )
Aparrently Aidy's going to buy about 5 new players in jan. We need a couple of good strikers to fill up marlons space as he wont be back til after the end of the season.A new defender as in my opinion Jordan Stewart shoudn't be in our team as I think he is very poor. And a couple of midfielders.
I think the idea was to get 2 strikers, a centre back, another midfielder and a new left/right back. The strikers are our main concern i think.
Yes,the trouble is we haven't got enough money to spend and there aren't many players that are good enough for that amount of money. Aidy's has to think about what players he actually wants and spend the money wisely.
