Oh sweet neighbours, how i miss thee.

Day Two: Withdrawal symptons kicking in now, everywhere i go i see Harold and Lou. Slowly but surely i seem to be speaking with an Aussie accent and i don't know whether this is down to the inexplicably good weather or missing neighbours, but all i can think about eating is BBQ food.

I was trying to work out the sudden change as well. I found it quite unsettling yesterday, but hardly noticed today. Give it a week and I'll forget it was ever different.

Neighbours has changed a lot from the days when I was a regular viewer and I spent ages working out how much booze I'd need before I'd do one of the Alessi twins.

I don't know what was better about today's episode.

The destruction of a simply horrific dance party (I'm not sure how you can be underage for dancing in a room full of people your own age), or the amazing fitness of rachel.

I'm DRASTICALLY behind, i've got two omnibus episodes recorded and i'll have to record this Saturday's as well.

Thus at some point soon i'm going to have to watch about 7 hours worth of Neighbours non-stop. Should be top draw viewing.

Thanks to my manager at work I'm watching far more Neighbours then ever before. I guess it's a good thing, although it usually means missing The Weakest Link.

I've yet to see Neighbours since the swap, i feel so dirty.

It's even worse now diagnosis murder has been taken off the air, my daytime viewing is distinctly lacking in cheese and mystery.

Somebody give me an update on the current poontang, i beg of you! Oh curse this sorry part of the world where there is no channel 5 and even freeview doesn't work!

Tell me Rachel is still fit, at least i'll be able to sleep easier.

Today I watched a whole episode of Neighbours for the first time in ages! Luckily for me it was centred around the old guard of Susan and Karl, so I enjoyed it. However it seems Susan has got some form of illness which I'm sure somehow she'll get over. Also I enjoyed the fact there are suggestions that the old Paul Robinson is still flickering inside this new pansy like Paul Robinson. Hopefully - given time - he'll be back to his old ways! Rachel did seem quite annoying and it appeared she might have put on a bit of weight, or am I imagining this?

Anyway it's good to be back for a day at least!

I miss neighbours terribly. I miss those cheeky bikini shots of Rachel, Jenae and Pepper. I miss Paul Robinson and his peg-leg, Toadie and his goatee, not to mention Harold and Lou.

Why oh why did the BBC let it go, the Aussie replacement has already been shifted to BBC2 after barely 2 weeks on air.

There is an omnibus on Saturdays but it just isn't the same...I miss waking up just in time to grab a subway before watching Neighbours, Doctors and then either Murder She Wrote or Diagnosis murder. Then I’d settle down for a well deserved afternoon nap *sigh*. Now my only contact with Neighbours at 1.35 is this thread :(

I don't get channel 5 in my student house in devon, it's an outrage, freeview doesn't even get a good enough signal.

Diagnosis murder is brilliant, i've purchased the series 1 box set just recently and an awaiting delivery, it'll be a hardcore couple of days viewing when it arrives. In addition, i also ordered a huge bag of gummy bears and a big bear mould after being inspired by your snack thread. Ebay really is the curse of all students.

This is my last 2 weeks as a student (for now) and it doesn't feel right without neighbours to get me through the day. The daytime t.v. schedule was a thing of beauty. Up at 12, have some food, Doctors, followed by neighbours, diagnosis murder, countdown, deal or no deal. Maybe a quick break before neighbours again, the simpsons and then hollyoaks.

The days of napping in the afternoon and living on 8p noodles are nearly over, i'm not looking forward to the real world. Thank the lord its only for a year.
